Archivist Matches Boxed Flying High
The Printed Peanut stands out as an exceptional artist, known for their unique and delightful designs. Collaborating with Louise Lockhart, our shared appreciation for old print ephemera and adding humor to our designs has resulted in a fun and striking collection of matchboxes. Drawing inspiration from print ephemera and food discovered in small markets, these matchboxes make for wonderful, practical gifts for any occasion. Stick color may vary from image shown. Each match measures 100mm long and there are 125 included in each box.
Archivist uses the traditional letterpress printing technique to create its range of cards and stationery. Founded in 1994 by Sarah and William Allardice, the brand aims to create timeless pieces that imbue a sense of fun, as well as being useful. Archivist’s luxury matches come in printed boxes that double as keepsakes themselves, making them an ideal gift, whilst the charming designs on their greeting cards offer universal appeal. Some of London’s finest museums back the brand; the V&A are a stockist and the Natural History Museum commissioned its own collection.
