Everything to See, Shop & Do in September
Hereford-based boutique Camperdown Lane is opening its doors on 30th September to a selection of local businesses for their event, The September Stalls. You can expect delicious fresh produce, vintage homewares, jewellery, ceramics, and so much more from the likes of Wye Organic, Frank’s Yard, Gemma Gough Jewellery and Faye Wellon Ceramics. Whether kicking off your (dare we say it) Christmas shopping, or looking for something to spruce up your home this Autumn, there’ll be something for everyone.

If you don’t feel like flexing your artistic muscles, but fancy checking out other people’s inspiring work, London Design Festival could be just the ticket. Hosted at the V&A and various other sites across the capital city, London Design Festival is an annual event that celebrates the creativity and designs of the city’s very best practitioners, innovators, retailers and educators. This one is for the kids, big and small - as the iconic Shaun the Sheep makes an appearance in Brighton this September. The beloved Aardmen character is popping up all across Brighton as part of the Shaun by the Sea Art Trail, where you can visit over 40 individually designed sculptures displayed around the city’s streets, parks and various other public areas.

Fancy getting a little creative? On the first Sunday of every month, Bideford-based fashion and lifestyle boutique Sunshine and Snow hosts a life drawing class with friend-of-the-business Fiona Balfour, in their upstairs event space. Bring your sketchbook and drawing materials and settle in for a night of drawing exercises and conversation, and leave feeling inspired. Don’t forget to check out their weekly yoga classes while you’re there, too.

Frieze Sculpture returns to Regent’s Park this September, this time curated by Fatoş Üstek. The exhibition will feature 22 leading international artists, who’s work will be placed at various points around the city’s historic gardens. Grab a coffee, and have a wander around the park, taking in the work at your leisure. You can take a look at all of the artists set to be featured here.
